Specialist acoustical engineering consultancy, est. 2011

Acoustical engineering, proven in the built result.

G Universe is a specialist acoustical engineering consultancy founded in 2011 in Jal el Dib, Lebanon, working across the Middle East, the Gulf, and Africa. We design, model, and verify the acoustic performance of hotels, hospitals, towers, and industrial plant, from the Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah to the King Abdullah Financial District.

Selected clients and projects

Waldorf Astoria (Hilton)
SABIC
BAE Systems
Ministry of Culture, KSA
AUBMC
Middle East Airlines

Novotel and Adagio (Accor)
Tribute Portfolio (Marriott)

The difference

The quiet promised at design stage, measured again at handover.

Acoustic defects are among the costliest to fix after construction and the cheapest to prevent before it. We prevent them across the full arc of a project, from the baseline survey that establishes the real noise environment to the in-situ measurement that proves the built result meets its target.

Acoustics is all we do. Since 2011 that focus has carried more than 40 projects in eight countries, from guest rooms in Al Madinah held to operator noise targets to jet engine test cells measured in Dhahran.

What we do

Six disciplines, one responsibility: the acoustic performance of your project.

Where we work

We work where acoustic requirements are strictest and failure costs most.

Hospitality and luxury

Operator brand standards make hotels the most acoustically regulated buildings in private development. Our hospitality work runs from full acoustic design of the Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah to resort consultancy at Earth Resort and ACRAK Resort in Riyadh, and chiller remediation protecting occupied penthouses in Lebanon.

Healthcare and education

Recovery, privacy, and speech intelligibility are functional requirements here, not finishes. References include patient room mock-up design and testing at King Faisal Medical Center in Riyadh, facade and rooftop plant work at AUBMC, and the 500-seat auditorium at Riyadh American School.

Commercial, residential, and government

Towers inherit traffic noise through their facades and export plant noise from their roofs. We tested facades and partitions at King Abdullah Financial District in 2012 and delivered the full noise and vibration study for the Ministry of Culture in Riyadh in 2024, alongside the National Bank of Kuwait and Beirut Terraces.

Industrial and power generation

Heavy plant answers to regulators, neighbors, and occupational limits at once. We have measured jet engine test cells in Dhahran for BAE Systems and the Royal Saudi Air Force, and designed generator rooms from Beirut to Lubumbashi.

Method

Four phases, each ending in a deliverable you can hold.

Phase 01

Baseline and assessment

Site surveys, regulatory review, and design targets that fix the criteria before design begins.

Deliverable

Baseline survey and design targets

Phase 02

Predictive modeling

3D noise models that quantify risk and compare mitigations while a change costs nothing.

Deliverable

3D noise model report

Phase 03

Design and specification

Acoustic specifications for facades, partitions, floors, doors, and MEP plant, coordinated with your design team.

Deliverable

Phase 04

Testing and commissioning

In-situ measurement against the design targets, reported formally for clients and authorities.
